How can i change the language of the Syberia? It says in 5 + ingame languages but there is no such option in game. I use Mac

thanks
This is a very common question for the Mac native version, and it was always made worse by Microids support themselves (who never seemed to know the answer!). Unfortunately it is not in the game options, but is rather linked to the OS language. Just change your language in the System Preferences (Languages/Text, and drag the desired language to the top position), and the game will automatically use that language if it is one of the supported ones. This applies to Syberia 2 also.
Thanks for answering my question. I wish I was told this, I wouldn't have bought the game probably.

I use several languages and need to practice them, all this crap with not letting me choose free each app and game's language is annoying.

Is it possible to use the Windows version with Portal Kit or something like that?

Yes, certainly. You can use Wine/Wineskin and run the Windows version under it instead. It will take some more CPU but in general it should work fine. And as you probably know, language selection is very easy on it...it's in the options. The general game experience itself is actually better on the original Windows version anyway (unfortunately but not surprisingly).

Unfortunately, in the case of High Sierra, this is not the way it did.
Hello,

It seems this is the biggest issue on Mac.

I have MacOS Mojave and Polish is the only language set. I still have the game in English. Have anyone found a way to change it in game?
Sorry for very late reply. What does happen? If you have your general system preference set to English for example, it will still run only in Polish? (Very strange if so! Not sure what to make of it...)

I will only add that I just checked the Syberia downloads, and just to caution: the Mac version is listed only as including:
- English
- French
- German
- Spanish
- Italian

Polish, Russian, and Japanese are supposed to be available *only* with the Windows version (here on GOG, so far).
