Hello Syberia players,
I'm thinking about buying this game for my girlfriend to play on her netbook (an Eee 1001p), which has a max resolution of 1024 x 600 (can also do 800 x 600). I figured it would probably play, but wanted to check -- there are various apps that just won't run on this screen, unfortunately.
Has anyone tried playing this game (or the sequel) on a netbook? Your feedback please?

I don't see why not. I think the game is 800*600 based, and then the GPU just scales up/down the game to fit the screen. It should run just fine. ;)

As KavazovAngel says it should work fine.

Someone on netbookgamer has even tested the gog version out on a netbook. Its also a great site to look up future games you may be intrested in.

I'm playing it on my Samsung N150 (Uses the Intel N450 setup, confusing I know), and it works just fine.

I'm doing most of my gaming on that netbook, which is the advantage of GOG.com. Old games run great on it, and low resolution is a plus. This game looks far better on my netbook screen than on my 23" LCD.

As it isn't an intense 3d game with fast paced graphics with text overlays, there is no tearing, lag, or glitching, as seen in many other games on netbooks with this heinous Intel chipset.
(Examples of such games would be Freelancer and Deus Ex, FYI)
