I tried to download, install, and start SWAT 3 Game of the Year Edition on the new Microsoft Windows 10 Operating System platform, but I experienced some type of video display problem.

I was able to get the video game started, but after the initial video game introduction had ended, the video game was displayed in a very weird and very unusual way - only a partial part of the video game screen was displayed and visible, while the rest of the other remaining parts of the video game screen was obscured.

I was also not able to select any menu options, as they were blocked off.

The solution to this particular video display problem is to set your computer desktop's monitor video resolution settings to MATCH the video game's own video resolution settings exactly.

You can change your computer desktop's monitor video resolution settings by performing the following steps:

(1) Right mouse clicking on the computer desktop and selecting "Display Settings" in the menu dialog box;

(2) Changing the video resolution settings in the "Resolution" drop-down menu box under the "Display" section by either moving the mouse cursor upwards and/ or downwards to the relevant video display resolution settings, and/ or by pressing the up/ down arrows on the keyboard;

(3) Left mouse clicking on the close "X" icon on the top right-hand corner of the "Display" section to close it, and to return to the main computer desktop.

I also downloaded, installed, and used a new SWAT 3 Game of the Year Edition graphics enhancement mod software program to enable the video game to be displayed in much higher definition video quality/ resolution settings.

It is called the SWAT 3 Last Resort graphics enhancement mod.

You change the video display resolution settings in the SWAT 3 Last Resort graphics enhancement mod software program by performing the following steps:

(1) Left mouse clicking on the SWAT 3 Last Resort desktop icon on the main computer desktop;

(2) Adjusting the video display resolution settings in the "Available Screen Modes" section under the "3D Game Settings" tab;

(3) Selecting the "Save & Quit" option at the bottom of the SWAT 3 Last Resort display menu box.

For example, if your computer desktop monitor's video resolution settings are set to 2560 X 1440, you must also set the video game's video resolution settings to 2560 X 1440 as well.

The video game display will occur whenever there is a MISMATCH between your computer desktop monitor's video resolution settings and the video game's video resolution settings themselves.

In other words, the video display problem will happen when your own computer desktop monitor's video resolution settings are completely DIFFERENT from the video game's own video resolution settings.
