Does Sunless Skies depend on progress in Sunless Skies and/or Zubmariner or is it standalone?
I like the Fallen London world but I'm wary of buying because Sunless seas was too hard for me. I bought Zubmariner but I didn't realise that you need to be good at Sunless Seas in order to use it so basically it was a waste of money because I've never managed to get anywhere near the ports you're supposed to visit to start the quests to get the submarine.
Is Sunless Skies worth buying if I'm rubbish at Sunless Seas?

Hello! Sunless Skies is set in the same world as our other games, but slightly in the future. We also are doing a few things in development to try to make it slightly more accessible for people to get into. We're sure that our current players will be happy to answer how the game plays compared to Sunless Sea/Zubmariner, too
