No, there isn't a dedicated music folder with ready to use MP3s or WAVs. The music is most likely bundled in the 223 MB large "music.vpp" file in Summoners root folder. You will need a special utility to unpack this file.

I can upload the one I use somewhere, the build on the one I use seems to be 2002. I can't recall if, I've tried to install it on Win 7 64 bit, since I got the OS.

I see several searching on Google, as they are common in the Red Faction modding community. You just have to install the Builder then unpack the music folder somewhere. Here's a link to one I found, that has a couple Red Faction mods, but the total file size is 1/2 a meg. :p

Great! That VPP builder worked for me (win 7 64bit here too). I installed it, opened the music.vpp in Summoner folder and then extracted all files.

The soundtrack for this game is the main reason I bought it. Too bad the sound track is not readily available in standard file formats. This will have to do. Now, do we know anywhere were the actual names of the tracks and artists for the album can be found?

scott lee was the main composer. he posted some rumblings on his youtube about remastering the summoner soundtrack a couple years ago but he's been inactive for a while. you can find his channel here. he did post a couple of hq remasters but not full length versions of what most people probably want to hear, the main theme and the wolong caves tracks.

it's worth checking out just for his behind the scenes commentary. apparently the vocals on the main theme were a sort of last minute addition by some asian girl one of the designers was into at the time and no one remembers her name hahhaha
