ABigBlackWall: I installed Stronghold HD but my monitor doesn't support the default resolution it boots at. I was wondering if there is a config file or something I can edit to make it boot at 1280 x 1024 (my native) or 800 x 600?
Hi,

The only config file I found for the game was in Documents\Stronghold but unfortunately it only had my player's name and something called Campaign ( P P U) in it but no settings.

You can try setting your desktop resolution to 800 X 600 and then change the settings within the game.

This type of HD upgrade is a joke; it's a PC game, don't take away options, especially not the solution. The game is not fun at all at 1920x1200. Ah well, at least i still have the old resolutions, so it's not like the HD version is worse than vanilla Stronghold.
Please write to Support about this issue and make sure to attach a DxDiag file to your email and we'll see if we can get this sorted out for you ASAP. :D.
