Hi,

The game ran fine and smoothly. No slowdown or lag. However, it crashed on level 6 inside the dojo. The next day, I continued playing from level 6 and it crashed on level 11 during the boss fight.

From the crash file: crash.20 Apr 16-16 40 01.txt

Smells like Burned Chicken! We are sorry for the inconvenience.

Your game files may have been corrupted, try reinstalling the game.

Windows

I played on Easy, 1 player with Blaze.
Keyboard controls, no controller.

Windows 7 x64
8 GB RAM
EVGA GTX 760 Superclocked
setup_streets_of_rage_4_v04g-r10450_(64bit)_(37939), GOG offline version.
GOG Galaxy not installed.

Any solutions? Thanks.
Hard to say; Must admit it's been stable for me - The game isn't that taxing to run so it shouldn't be a strain on the system.

Might be worth re-installing it with the integrity check enabled in the installer and running a memory test just to eliminate data corruption as a place to start.

Might be a weird driver thing?

What stuff have you tried/looked it so far?
Thank you for the reply. I always check file integrity before installing. It may be the Nvidia drivers, I haven't updated since last year. I will try this later during the week.

Also, Steam has posted this. Maybe others patches are in the work.

The one time I had a crash was in Arcade yesterday, which, sucked.. I was at stage 6 past the kitchen when the game froze and crashed.

I haven't had any other crashes other than that one, in about 10 hours of playtime. So for me it's been fairly stable otherwise, but this sucks hard if you get it in Arcade.
Someone posted on Steam forums that the crashes mostly happen to keyboard users.

We're still waiting for the third patch to roll-in and the Steam's version is already at their 4th or higher. :-(

Is this a game dev problem or GOG?

I do get the impression a lot of devs are frustrated with GOG as it's hard to get hold of someone directly to get a game published or get patches uploaded...

no, I've been reading on the Steam version experiencing much of the same issue and the solution for now seems to be playing on a controller instead of the Keyboard.
