Bought this game, installed it, but when I try to open in, it looks like it will start, then crashes and goes back to desktop before any cinematics have even started. No idea what's wrong. I've re-installed it 3 times and tried downloading it both with my regular browser and the gog downloader. No difference.

I am very bad at technical stuff so clear step by step instructions would be really appreciated. I've played this game since I was a kid but the disc finally went kaput. I really want to play again. please help.

I'm actually quite upset to have paid for a game that doesn't bloody well work.
