There was an online game that acted as a prologue to Still Life. Using the Wayback Machine, you can get the old official site to work but I can't get the Prelude game to work.

Yep, same for me! Just finished Still Life 1, I was hoping to check the "extended online adventure" as Microids sells it in the game itself.
I do not know what language/technology is used for this Prelude, but it indeed does not run on the Wayback Machine, meaning that maybe it did not archive it...

I'll try to contact Microids directly (I'll check if they still exist), in case they have a backup.

In the meantime, would anyone reading this have a backup of this Prelude (you never know!)?

Any luck with this?

No, unfortunately they did not answer to my tweets nor to my ticket on their support portal...
