You have to contact Eugen support (https://www.eugensystems.com/contact-our-support/) ... they will provide you with a gamekey for the Back to War DLC if you can provide them with sufficient information that you own SD44 on Steam.

I made a screenshot of the SD44 Steam and the SD2 GOG receipts and received the free DLC from Eugen in less than 24h.

This is brilliant, thank you! I was not looking forward to get SD2 on Steam because of this.

I bought this pack before I saw that it was free to owners of 44. Oh well, I guess it went to support them bringing it to GoG.

Now if they would just bring 44 to GoG, there wouldnt be an issue. I would absolutely buy it here again.

Just a confirmation that Eugen Systems support services are great; in a few hours, with just proof from myself that i own the first one on steam and the second here on GOG, i received an answer with a link to activate the back to war dlc:
