I mentioned this in the previous discussion, but I wanted to make sure that it is properly seen.

I have patched to the latest version of the game (and I can tell that it is updated because the fonts are noticeably larger), yet I was still able to walk past the force field in the medical bay without disabling it by clicking near the top of the screen.

My last save game was in the medical bay area. Might this be an issue with old saves?

Yes that could be a reason! I just tested this again and it def doesn't allow it - we added a flag to make sure this couldn't occur. If you could (when you have a sec) Please load save just before medical, lets say aft the surgery and then try it again and let me know.
