So, the game starts fine, but I can't get out of it, or save anything. Is there a menu anywhere, and if so, how to invoke it? The only way I could exit back to Windows (Win 7 64-bit) was by means of the 'three-finger salute' and then killing the process in the Task Manager.

ALt-F4 will quit at any time.

The actual game UI does not come up until the game proper has actually started.

If you need help wth that read on, I'm going to leave some spoiler space.















Ok, when the game starts:

1. Turn around
2. You'll see a computer on a desk, click the CD tray.
3. Drag the game disc and release it in the tray.
4. Once you get your electronic PET, you'll have menu options for saving/etc on the lower right.

Thanks a lot. That makes sense: some games incorporate the game controls into the 'gaming experience'.

On the night that I fired up this game I had to quickly get out of it as soon as I started it: hence I never got to the 'enter the game controls part'. :o
