I'm running Starship Titanic on Windows 10/x64 no problem so far but ALT-TAB does not work, nor any other way to switch between applications. Has anyone stumbled upon a way to run this game where you can still task switch and do modern stuff, you know... multi-tasking? :)

Yeh, you'll have trouble doing that, since the GOG Starship Titanic still uses the original ancient game executable, which doesn't exactly play well with modern Windows. What you should o is install ScummVM and play it via that. It has options for Windows vs full-screen, and Window size.
