Every time I try to get a chickin it flies up. I can't grab it. Help!

As a hint.. ship operations are controlled by Titania. If you want to change how the dispenser operates, you'll need to fiddle with her. More explicit answer below.
You'll need to break the dispensing system by removing the yellow fuse in Titania's room.
