Newly released game ~ "Starcom Nexus: Unknown Space"

Tested on win7pro, galaxy install ~ Locked up during "loading...." screen.

FIX found on steam forum:

Delete this file (or move it elsewhere) ~ AkSoundEngine.dll ~ located here:
\your GoG library folder\Starcom Unknown Space\Starcom Unknown Space_Data\Plugins\x86_64\

Game now loads to menu & seems to be all ok. Audio effects still working, but NO music.

Happy gaming to all.

Update:
Above method killing aksoundengine.dll causes player.log file to be spammed with error messages.

However, deleting/renaming AkMotion.dll instead also works, & causes no player logfile spam.

Thanks! Good to know - you saved me the need to test this product out. The music adds to the ambience, esbalishing the mood, but this must be the best possible thing to lose. It is easily replaced, and possibly extracted from the game files anyway.
Nice. Always good to see someone who refuses to let Win10/11 infect their system.

Incidentally, I can also report that it runs flawlessly under Wine on Linux (which is how I played it).
Update:
First method killing aksoundengine.dll causes player.log file to be spammed with errors messages.

However, deleting/renaming AkMotion.dll instead allows game to load, with no logfile spam.
i even have music with deleted AkMotion.dll
but no clue why - nothing in the log, no other AkMotion.dll on my system.
