Al3xand3r: Noice!
I know this is taking quite a while to rebuild. You guys are doing wonderful work. Patiance is worth the waitng in the end. Has there been any start on modeling the surface of the Death Star, and will it be more like the movie or 3 missions like the original classic?
My cousin and I waisted many hours on this game. Can't wait to see the final product. Good job guys.
Sorry this was meant to be replied to FekLeyrTarg
Oh and thank you AI3xand3r

Idk if they've specifically said anything about that but it seems to be a pretty 1:1 faithful remake so I imagine the missions will be just like the original by default. I mean, haven't they said it reads the original game files and is accurate to the point that if you have modified the missions and values of the original game yourself the changes will be reflected in the remake?

That's correct: the original mission files are used, and custom missions in the original format (whether made today or back in the 1990s) work, too.

Hey is there a chance that you can make the game data exportable in such a way that you can build a physical cockpit for this sim?
Hi,
Just leaving a note to say the XWVM project has re-ignited my interest in the X-Wing sim.

Taught my son to play X-Wing as a method to introduce computers when he was 8 years old. That was back in '94.
Great father~son bonding. Now 34, he's in charge of dept of project managers for a well known hotel conglomerate.

Really looking forward to refly the X-Wing missions with my son (after the grand kids are asleep) using the XWVM mods.

Lots of Grins !

Hi - I'm new here. How can I participate and get a download of XWVM?
We're not looking for new testers at present, I'm afraid.
