Hey there, just curious how is the ISD coming along? Looks good in game so far. I love the capitol ships in this game.
Oh also just a dumb thought. Would it be possible to put in a 2nd sun near the Tatooine planet backdrop like in the movie? I think the mission was x wing mission wing: wingmen are important. Simple mission, but love it. I love the Tatooine planet also. Nice model. One of my favorite planets. Coruscant is my other favorite. ;) Sorry if misspelled anything.

Sorry, I have been a bit away for some days.
The "Wingmen are important" mission is an X-wing Historical mission if I am not mistaken. We aren't yet fixing those. But there are plans to have twin suns where they belong. We need to see how to determine when it needs to happen, though, because the mission file doesn't really specify how many suns there must be. :)

I think Mon Cal is also on a system with two suns, so a second sun should appear on YWHM6 too, at least.
I stop checking, and the second round goes out :( Lol maybe next time I'll see it in time.

I'm texturing the ISD now, should have something to show shortly - it's taking awhile, because, you know, it's huge. :) Here's what the overlapped uvs look like (see attached).

Hey there, just installed 2nd stage update. Star Destroyer looks like it's coming along nicely. Can't wait to see colors in hangar bay and window lights!!! :) If it would only stop firing at me. :p

Hey just a thought for later on down the road. I know u guys r figuring out how to work out the cut scenes and such, but I think u guys should use your hard work updated models. And I'm sure for some one who is crafted in modeling and animation u guys could probably make a real good Admiral Ackbar in the cut scene with him on the bridge. Just a thought. Anyway keep up the good work. Defiantly bringing back the nostalgia.

We have already a great Ackbar!
We will use him first at the briefing room.
The launching, landing and intro cutscenes will probably be remade with 3D models in the future, giving an option to use the classic ones or the remade ones.
This isn't really a bug and that's why I'm posting and reporting it here. It's neat to see more missions complete. Would like to see planets in them, but not sure if that's how it's suppose to be or if they aren't still quite finished yet. Also main reason for this post, it's cool we can fly other fighters now, but I assumed that these are temp cock pits for the A B and X wing fighter? Would like to see them more done like the xwvm Y Wing fighter.

About planets:
Mission designers are the ones who add planets to their missions. If a mission has a planet object, then XWVM will show it about at the relative position where it was placed by the designer.
There are missions that do no use any planet, though. Those missions supposedly happen in deep space.
In the future, we will have what some people have called "sidecar mission extension files". That is, extensions to existing missions where we will ad extra bells and whistles or tweak a couple of things. Adding planets to missions that don't have any could be one such extension.

The only remade cockpit is the Y-wing, so far. The other rebel fighters use cockpits from XWAUP that are just placeholders. We need more artists to remake cockpits at the same quality level as the Y-wing's.
Hey there, one last question and I'll shut up for awhile. ;)
Just curious, once all of this is complete will it be like the original game? Completing one mission to the next until the campaign is over. And onto the next campaign. Or is this going to be set up as it is now where you can just select any mission? I know this is only alpha testing, but just curious.
