A couple of tracks from the X-Wing soundtrack:

Is this still a site or did this get wiped out? Sorry it's fixed now. Seemed like everything was gone.

This was some of the best news when I saw this - I'm so excited to jump back into the missions I played as a kid with all the new assets and awesomeness you're adding!

Really looking forward to all your updates, and if you ever need another tester, I'd be incredibly keen!
OMG! Really OMG!
I am currently playing Xwing remastered and have a LOT of fun even though there is no dynamic music only Williams' soundtrack. The game is a masterpiece even after 20 years.
And now I've seen the XWVM mod....
It's gonna come to me in my dreams.
How far are the works now?
Most important question - WHEN?!!!!

And the obvious question - how may I join the testing?

So just curious. Has the cockpit and the model for the X-wing fighter been started yet? Would love to see what that looks like updated. Y-wing looks beautiful. Interior and exterior.

There's nothing to show on that front yet.
I have done some work on the X-Wing based on my highres model (see attached), but, yes, nothing to show yet. The cockpit will take it's cues from both the original game's cockpit and what we see in the OT films, with functionality and playability being the priorities.

Wow, very nice model! I'm literally shaking. Can't wait to see that completed!
Yep, the same question here, when can we expect the mod to be playable?
The main impediment continues to be a lack of suitable ship models that can be used by the project. Most of what is still required for a public demo (of the six Y-Wing historical combat missions) is in progress, but it's not a simple task. In the meantime, lots and lots of AI research is going on, bugs are being identified, and bugs are being fixed.
Hi,

You are searching for 3D Artists?

I would be so happy to work on this.
See attached a little bit of my Star Wars and unrelated work.

I am a Star Wars Fan since the Special Editions were in cinema. In the time since, I played Star Wars Games. And although I like a lot of them more, for example The Force Unleashed and Jedi Knight, I am still playing X-Wing (and TIE Fighter) in 2018!

I saw your list of models which have to be done.
The A-Wing is my favourite craft and I would like to make the model. I have a lot of reference photos already.

Maybe later, that depends on what you need sooner, I would also like to do the Death Star.

However I can't start at once, because I am on a longer journey. I'll be back home in September.

Thanks for your interest, I’ll check with the group. Here’s a closeup of the modeling and texture work on the corvette to give you a sense of what it is that we’re shooting for.

Hey guys. I know there is so much going on with this game, looking great. Can't wait to see the new detailed ships in game. Corvette/rebel blockade runner looks amazing. I think I have mentioned this before, but I would love to be able to record the missions and watch fighters and cruisers in action as the original game did. There is so much detail to look at. I would love to look at the TIE Fighters and bombers details closer, but they fly by so fast. Any update as to when this feature may be implimented as it was in the original?

Sounds nice, although I think the stereo hard-pans a little too much for headphones.
Are these tracks finished? Should I consider this a complete album, like TIE Figher? If it is, do you have FLACs or ALACs available?
They are for the most part finished. I think some of them are still missing their iMuse intro-transition, which I'll add eventually, but sound-wise I'd say it's the best I can do. Apart from that though it's not complete yet... some cues are still to be done.

Regarding lossless, I have actually enabled download of the original WAV for each track, but I don't know if you have to be a Soundcloud member to be able to do that.

Here are the current tracks as FLAC: https://www.dropbox.com/s/ww9wzxtrshr6cy0/xwflacv1.zip?dl=0
