I installed it on my HP G62 laptop. I created a pilot, but when i click on play (or whatever) it does nothing. The launcher disappears but the game doesnt pop up

It works great on my desktop. Same windows version and same gog version

Make sure Directplay is enabled. I'm currently not at my computer so posting links is a bit of a hassle but you can find guides on youtube or google.

Have you instaleld any mods or fixes?
If you haven't try the XWAupgrade patch, it doesn't just add models but a few fixes foor modern graphic cards as well.
