I know there is a working patch for X-wing alliance, but does anyone know if there is a patch that works with the gog version of xvt that adds in missing player flyable craft like the TIE defender and the b-wing?

I haven't tested it, but theoretically, most Mods for XvT should also work on the GoG-Version.
This pack adds all the missing craft to XvT:
