I'm new to the GOG forums.

So, I seem to be having an issue with my copy of the game. The Engine/Laser/Shields indicator in the cockpit doesn't change with my commands. The binded keys seem to work because I receive the confirmation at the bottom of the screen that I've changed my power balance, but the little bar indicators don't move.

Also, I'm not sure if this is related, but I keep running out of juice at the end of missions. I'll be flying around with no shields and no laser cannons, regardless of what balancing I attempt. I used to be pretty good at this game back in the day and I know about power management. But what I'm experiencing is a complete lack of responsiveness from my X-wing: no matter how much juice I pour into shields or cannons, nothing seems to happen.

Anyone else experiencing this issue?
