thing is that the XWAU currently destabilizes the game a lot. we should probably wait for the XWAU crew to update the packs to work better with the new GOG version of XWA. if that's the reason at all for the crashes.

Darksaber is already working on that, one cause for many crashed reported here was the Planetary Fighter.

I don't really like the interiors (flashy, and kinda distracting, and bland in comparison to the rest) but otherwise the models are great

I might be bitter though just because I preferred the actual cockpits with displays in them instead of a HUD overlay

I loved the XWAU when I had it working! Now the new update from GoG has destabilized it and I don't know how to fix it. All that time downloading all the models wasted lol.

I thought you needed the cd-roms to install the upgrade pack. At any rate, it looks great. the only thing that bothers me now is the ugly floating HUD. I found the hot keys for disabling it at makeitsimple.com

Floating UI? The UI hasn't been changed at all.

Is there anyway to remove the nVidia font fix without uninstalling the whole upgrade pack? I thought it would fix the sliced text but it only made the font turn bold.
