The Download link for the mod doesn't work. Initialy the download is very slow (around 360kb/s) and after a while it fails
is there an alternative link somewhere?

The link works if you use a download manager like FDM.

Im trying to also get the 3d hardware re-integrated - theres a thread on here about it, and a fix provided that alters the exe to switch the 3d acceleration back on.

Only - it would appear the fixed exe for that and the fixed exe for this are incompatible..

I asked on that thread and got this reply

Any chance anyone who knows their stuff could look at a way of combining the two exes so I can have the music AND 3d-acceleration please? I wouldn't have a clue myself...

I'd love to have both working at the same time, I hate to have to choose between the two.
I'd be willing to pay a bounty via PayPal to the person who figures out how to get this Music Mod working with the 3D Acceleration fix. I've tinkered around an entire afternoon trying different things, but I'm afraid it's beyond my skill set.

You'll have to apply the 3D patch to that exe.

Or instead of the 3D patch you can use one of these wrappers

though they're mostly relevant for the steam version because it's incompatible with the patch due to Steam's encryption/DRM.

I managed to get the necessary package that combines the music mod + 3d acceleration from an Admin on the XvT Discord server. If anyone else needs it, I would suggest speaking up on Discord. :)
