I bought KotOR 1 and 2 during the May the 4th sale earlier this month, and just completed the first game earlier this week. Prior to that, I had never touched either of them before.
My goodness, what an experience. Best 5 dollars and 40 hours I've spent in a very long time. This site is about so much more than nostalgia - we are so incredibly lucky to be able to experience these classics so cheaply and so easily. I say "easily," because I suspect that without the games being DRM-free, I wouldn't have gotten either of them working on my Linux machine.
Anyway, signing off now. I just wanted to express my gratitude.
