I have been forced to move over to W11 and just spent an hour getting my older games running
I confirm the Gog game copy needs mods to run on modern systems i.e, anything with 2 Graphics or a NON intel chip

he uses Steam so there are some minor changes
the Steam default path is:
{user}/ C Program Files X86/ Steam/ SteamApps/ Common/ SWKOTOR
where Gog uses [in my case]
D:\GOG Galaxy\Games\Star Wars - KotOR

also Steam uses the 1024 X 768 build & Gog uses the 800 X 600 so there are minor edits needed
