Hi,

I read that you can convince some of your party members into becoming a Jedi. Is this a good move? More Jedi is great, but this also mean I require more Jedi equipment. Will losing their previous classes be a great loss (combat role/skills/feats wise)? If it's OK to do so, should ALL potential Jedis become a Jedi? Or only some individuals?

Thanks
It's been a while since I player KOTOR2 but as far as I remember you can make Brianna, Aton, Bao-Dur, and Mira to become Jedi. Visa, Kreia, and Disciple (who only appears if the main character is female) are already Jedi.

I don't remember how exactly it works, but I do remember being it worthwhile. My party of all Jedi was kicking ass really hard and never had any issue with not having enough Jedi gear.
Thanks LebesgueNew! This will be helpful.

I don't think you lose anything. Rather you're gaining a jedi class on top of your existing class. I think it works similarly to DnD multiclassing. You're just adding features of two classes together.

If you've played the first game this is what happens to your character. You start out as soldier/scoundrel/scout and get your Jedi class later.

So, basically you are boosting your characters by making them jedi. They get jedi abilities, force powers and equipment on top of everything they had before. They only get better.

Jedi'ing your party is a dominant strategy. No loss is incurred by doing so.
