(Sorry, I forgot to set this topic as a question ;_; )

Hello everyone, I hope somebody here will be able to help me with this one.

The thing is -as the subject says- I can't play KOTOR II - TSL anymore (at all) since I updated my computer from W8.1 to W10. It took me time to notice this (since I didn't launch K2 these last days) but when I upgraded from W8.1 to W10 the game started crashing on startup. It won't even display anything, it just fails to launch, and an
“application has stopped working” error message appears. Then, CTD.

As I said, the game worked like a charm on W8.1. It never crashed or anything like this. I also have a retail version of KOTOR 1 which worked fine on W8.1, and now crashes as well (the game launch, but can't load a save).

I already tried reinstalling it but it did nothing.
My system is equipped with an AMD HD Radeon 8330 so I've checked my Control Catalyst thing is still up to date (it is).

Thanks to KOTOR's analyze tool, I found out that the game doesn't seem to be able to use OpenGL. Of course I've made sure I still have OpenGL.
I've also found out that OpenGL issues with W10 are quite common, so I believe I might be concerned by this problem as well. But I don't really understand what is OpenGL and how it works, so I might also be strongly mistaken.

That's pretty much everything I think I know about this problem. I did not managed to find a fix for this, so I'm asking for your help.

Thanks for reading this, I hope someone will have a clue because at this point I've runned out of ideas.

Have a nice day o/

If there is an atioglxx.dll file inside the game folder delete it. You may also have to disable "Frame Buffer Effects" ingame.

Hello, thanks for your reply o/

Unfortunately, it seems deleting this dll didn'tt fix it. It seems the game doesn't """try"""" to launch at all, so I looked in the task manager, and the KOTOR II task disappears a few seconds after I hit swkotor2.exe

Thanks a lot, it works again ! (it's not in a wide 16:9 resolution anymore but I'm not gonna complain about that).

I'm really grateful :) Have a nice day !
