they all cheat(or the game is rigged that way in certain ways but probably not originally)
Gelrood is a reputed cheater so I expect this but I found even Nikolos(the easiest and first player upper Taris) will roll lucky 20s quite often without playing any side hands. also he seems to get exactly the right card to either get down to a 20 from a higher number or "one-up" my player character if i I decide to "Stand" the match. say 18 Niko gets a 19. Gelrood this is pretty expectable of him. He is supposed to cheat! The character is programed that way! I briefly played on other worlds too but tired of the game after Taris as I was loosing more than gaining. Originally in 2003/4 this game was fun(I recall) but I think some "mods" have been added to make it where they player looses. makes it less fun as it is not "hard" it is just a mess. I won 200 cr from Nikolos only to loose 1000 later. but then I started realising the "Gambler's bug" ;) and quit playing all-to-gether!
