So I have the Steam version of this game, and I can only get that version to launch in windowed mode in a tiny window in the top left corner of my screen. It'll play fine, but has to be windowed and can't be put to full screen (even in a 4:3 ratio).

So I figured I'd try GoG. This time around, however, no matter what compatibility I try or settings I change, the game won't even launch, even in windowed mode. I was hoping I could get the GoG version to perhaps work full screen (I know it doesn't work natively with widescreen resolutions, but my previous desktop with windows 8.1 would at least play it full screen). Won't launch at all. I sent in a ticket to support over 24 hours ago, and have yet to get any response from them, so I figured I'd try here for the time being.

Running Windows 8.1, I have a Nvidia Geforce GTX 860M graphics card, fully updated drivers. Any ideas? I'll let you know if I've tried it or not. Here's to hoping.

Just to be clear, the game works fine on windows 8.1... I assume your g-card drivers need updates but as you have already sent an email to support, they will be going over your diax file looking for the problem.

You must not have read my post entirely, since I already stated my graphics drivers are fully up to date. Also I stated I had no problems running this on my desktop that was also running windows 8.1. So yes, it's clear the game works fine on windows 8.1, I already acknowledged that.

And we'll see if I get a response from them at all.
