Sachys: After support gave me a different version of the exe file, I didnt have any crashes related to movies - and in fact, only had one crash in the whole game I think. Be worth contacting them to see if it will sort your situation.

I presumed by the fact you were posting here it was the GOG version you were having trouble with.

I neglected to mention that. At least the gog version currently has this issue so that I don't envy gog users yet. This new exe probably would fix it if it was ever rolled out on steam though.
