Hi guys, I have a really strange problem. Sorry for my English :)

For over a hour i tried to run SW Kotor on my PC. I tried to change resolution, disable movies, install with patch 1.03, without patch, replaced mss32.dll, run in windowed mode, run in a compatibility mode with windows XP sp2,3, vista etc. Finally, I managed to run the game, I played smoothly for over 2 hours, then turn PC off and go to bed. The next day... game failed to launch again. And I can't play it till now. When I click the swkotor.exe game launches, I'm in menu for about 5 seconds and then game crashes "The program has stopped working". Any ideas what might help?

My specs:
Windows 10 x64
AMD Radeon R7 200 with latest drivers
8GB RAM
Intel Core i7 3.40GHz

I played this game about 8years ago and never finished it. please help me cause im losing my mind :D

I don't have Windows 10 first-hand experience, but you might want to consider the terms under which you bought the game, quote:

"ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS OF USE REQUIRED TO PLAY

Please be advised that Windows 10 operating system will receive frequent hardware driver and software updates following its release; this may affect game compatibility"

Yes, I am aware of it. But yesterday I played this game for bout 2 hours and everything was fine. Today, it crashes again in Main Menu :(

Did you delete the ati dlls?

Yes, it helped me launch to Main Menu, because with ati dll files game crashed before anything happened.

I already read this.
Deleting dll files allowes me to launch the game, but in Main Menu after 5 seconds the game crashes. Turning off frame buffer did not help. I'm still stuck :(

It's solved. I had to return to Windows 7 and everything works fine :)
