KOTOR 1: Star Forge Jedi Battle Fix/Workaround: ***********************
**** This BUG workaround is for KOTOR players who have arrived at the Star Forge, and are greeted by an empty docking bay, rather than by a small group of good JEDI. These JEDI are supposed to greet the main character. This is a GAMEBREAKER, as encountering subsequent Dark Jedi will only result in non-interaction or an infinite in-game cutscene that amounts to a game crash.
****At the time of encountering this bizarre game BUG, I had been playing a HEAVILY MODDED GOG version of KOTOR.
(btw the 30+ mods made the game look great!! )
****SOLUTION: 1) Before going to the star forge, Save the game before taking off from the Temple/Beach Planet
(Before the Admiral's cutscene)
2) Install yet another vanilla unmodded version of KOTOR in another GOG directory.
3) Transfer/copy paste your save file into the new install's save folder.
4) Run new unmodded KOTOR and load that save file.
5) Go to the Star Forge and now finally encounter the Good Jedi, who will fight some Dark jedi
coming out of an elevator (cutscene.)
6) After the encounter, save the game in a new slot, and copy that file BACK to your modded
version's save files Folder of KOTOR. Load up said file. Should fix the problem- well, it did work
for me after experimenting, allowing me to finish the game.
