The sticky is already old and missing a few good mods.

Basic Mods:
Restoration Patch 1.2.
Restoration of previously cut content and other fixes.

Widescreen Mod.
Follow the guide and use the HUD correction files.
I had to do the troubleshooting part of removing those few lines of not converting the movies to a higher resolution.

Mods for a more satisfying experience:
NPC Overhaul.
Lessens the copy&paste of random npcs by making them more unique.

Fixed Feat Icons.
Updated feat icons.

Updated PC Responses.
Improved PC responses to a somewhat more mature and intelligent level.

Character Start-Up Changes.
Removes the previously fixed feats you automatically had according to your class to a free point allocation system.
Make sure to atleast spent points on either blaster or swords or you will be unable to use the starting items.

High Quality Skyboxes.
Updated background images.
Download HQSkyboxes Part 1 and 2 - or the 1k_Main file containing a smaller version.

List of even more mods.

Edit: Somehow galaxy client downloaded some sort of update for kotor while I was organizing my mods and writing this and reverted the widescreen fix. If you start kotor and are back to normal resolution apply the widescreen fix again.

Well, this is largely a matter of taste.

There are somewhat essential mods, that should be included in every play-through in my opinion, but unlike KotOR II with TSLRCM, everything here is at least optional.

I think K1R and the widescreen mod are the only ones that should be recommended to everyone. NPC Overhaul is purely cosmetic. Updated PC Responses and especially Character Start-Up Changes actually change the game in a significant way, so I wouldn't include them here.

Maybe this list could be split into a general recommendations part and one for nice extra stuff.

You forgot some of the more important graphical mods anyway, like High Quality Skyboxes.

Actually, I think it would be enough to share this link:

True: mods are always a matter of taste.
That's why I only llisted a few which I deem essential for a more satisfying run.

And yes: I missed out on most of the graphical mod.
I was just too lazy to browse through those 24 pages and test them.

Edit: Updated the OP to implement your suggestions.

Out from curiosity... what is outdated in the sticty? Be both share the same link to Restoration Mode, and other than that, you most basicaly not mentioned mods. You could post it in the sticky and I would add them to list. Though - no harm done either way, cause people most likely will check here too. ;)
