Hi all,

I played Sith Lords almost a decade ago and haven't finished it that time. Luckily I have my saves from CD version so I decided to give it another try. Unfortunately, all I can see (in both CD and GOG games) are the most recent two saves from the list of 34 common ones (plus quicksave and autosave), Moreover, these two are useless since they're my attempts to start over at Peragus.

I don't remember for sure if I used any mods (most likely I did - I remember installing TeamGizka's content restoration mod of unknown version), but I believe the saves should be visible anyway, just have glitches with loading/playing. Just in case, I have my old game installed from CDs intact, but can't load any saves except the beginning there too.

As the support FAQ suggested, I reinstalled the game with setup run under admin privileges and then I run the game with admin rights too - it hasn't change anything. The saves look OK to me (all have GLOBALVARS.res, PARTYTABLE.res, savenfo.res, SAVEGAME.sav, Screen.tga files, and are visible/editable in KSE).

Could anyone help me resolve this issue? As far as I remember, I had only Korriban and Malachor V left unvisited and starting the game all over again would be a painful waste of time/memories ((

UPDATE: The issue seems to lurk in savenfo.res: when I moved this file from save that works to broken save, the latter appeared in the list, however still unloadable.

Very likely you need the have the same version and/or mods.

If it's been nearly a decade, replay it, or maybe get a save game from someone that matches your config that starts after Telos (the tedious part).

I was in the same boat recently and didn't bother looking for my saves. After a decade, I needed a refresher.

I uninstalled my current KOTOR 2 game which had the Content Restoration Mod, and installed it clean

I could still see my saves from the Content Restoration Mod, and I could even load them.

I almost hesitate to bring it up, but did you hit the:

"Switch Character"

button?

I noticed after starting a new game, that the saves are only visible for one character at a time.
