I just started (after finishing 1 despite several problems that lead to crashes andmessed with the graphics) kotor 2 and on 1 computer (my laptop) it just doesn't start, while on my tower I have no sound.

On top of that, the holo records and some discussions take forever to load, but it's not the worst for some dialog just freeze and effectivaly force me to end the program. one of these dialogs is after ending the quarentine, back on main facility, the mandatory kreia dialog where she says an ennemy arrived.

in other words I cannot progress in my soundless game because it freeses.

i saw something about a patch causing problems, I do not know if it's the same here, but in the last few month and especialy with kotor games, gog has been a disapointment.

If anyone knows a way to fix it you are welcome.
For the freeze, i quote this from PCGamingWiki:

" No limit. Frame rates over 60 can cause issues, see Stuttering or Freezing after combat / Unable to move the character"
"Capping the framerate at 60 or 72 Hz solves this issue."

for no sound another quote from steam forum:

"you have to disable analogue audio device - RMB on the sound icon, click "Sounds" and on "Playback" card disable everything but the speakers you use. "

For Kotor 1, i suggest this patch "KOTOR 1 Community Patch 1.9.2"
https://deadlystream.com/files/file/1258-kotor-1-community-patch/

For Kotor 2 "TSL Restored Content Mod 1.8.6"
https://deadlystream.com/files/file/578-tsl-restored-content-mod/

There are many bug from those games but it can be resolved, keep searching.

I tried the changes and patch, nothing worked.
Also it seams many Star Wars games suffer a similar lack of sound problem
as If Specificaly Star Wars was cursed.
