Hi I am considering getting the GOG version of this game. I have the Steam version but here I have no resolution options and the swkotor file where you can alter looks like this for graphics.
[Graphics Options]
V-Sync=0
Anisotropy=1
Frame Buffer=1
Anti Aliasing=0
Texture Quality=2
Emitters=1
Grass=1
Soft Shadows=0
Shadows=1
Brightness=57
EnableHardwareMouse=1
FullScreen=1
Disable Vertex Buffer Objects=1

I have tried all the fixes on the steam forum but to no avail.
I run the latest gforce card and win 10 If you need more spec I can provide them.
Will the GOG version be any different or has any of you had the same problems as me? If the latter do you know how to fix them?

I don't know whether the GOG version will run or not. However, have you already tried the Flawless Widescreen Patch with your Steam version?

Since you're using a Gforce card, you might have installed the tool Gforce Experience. It sometimes causes problems with games, so I'd try deactivating it or even better uninstall it for testing.

And here you'll find two guides on how to setup Nvidia cards for the game to work, which might be useful:
