Hi everyone,

I was thinking of playing this game again. I plan to play soldier/guardian (mostly LS). Because of the anti-grinding nature of the game, can someone actually do all the quests and earn enough money to buy both the Mantle of the Force (25000$), the Heart of the Guardian (20000$)? Will I'll also be able to afford:

- Advanced Alacrity Implant (22000$), implant, DEX +5
- Dominator Gauntlets (15000$), STR +5
- Electrical Capacitance Shield (8500$), belt, immunity to electricity

That's a whopping total of 90500$

Is it possible? And will I still have enough left to decently equip two party members?

Thanks

If you want those items badly, you could just cheat? As far as I know there are no "cheat flags" remembered at the end of the game.

Also, not sure of this and never tried it, but might be theoretically possible to reach that amount of cash by playing Pazaak a lot?
Swoop bike racing and Pazaak are your friends. Also, sell *everything* that you absolutely do not need, but sell it *only* on Yavin, who gives much better prices. You can farm certain areas, like Tatooine, too. It's do-able, but tedious.
Thank you both for the replies.

Actually, I did used the cheats years ago. I played a lot of Pazaak games to earn money. It was more like Star Wars: Knights of Pazaak. I got sick and tired of it and that's when I cheated. But I this time I want to play cheat-free.

Good to know about Yavin. I'll be holding on to my junk then. I think I will also do the Genoharadan sidequests, LS points be damned.
As Hickory said. Swoop bikes and Phazaak are great for earning good money. But with swoop bikes you want to be efficient. You want to beat the track in one or two goes. And then play Phazaak on Yavin, the wager there is 1000 credits as far as I remember. As far as I remember after you beat the poor guy a few times in a row he refuses to play, but in the process you will get a few thousands of credits closeer towards your goal.

Btw, as far as I remember all Phazaak players refuse to play once you are +5 or so against them (might be slightly more but I do not remember the exact number). Typically in that case you get extra goodies - again I don't remember them being worth too much but if you raising money every item counts!
Thank you for the reply Lebesgue. I'll do just that, save scumming will be the order of the day then. I also started to sell unused equipment. And I'm being conservative and spend only when necessary.
