I have the Steam version, and I have to play without movies. The movies in the Steam version can (AND WILL) make the game crash to the desktop randomly, so I have to play without movies.
So, my question is, is this problem fixed in the GOG version?

I have now played some time and i have no problems with the movies.

I already checked that tutorial. Unfortunely, trying to use it on the Steam version could be a little "illegal" and Valve could decide to shot down my entire account, so one way or another, I'll buy the GOG version :3
