Hey all, hope someone can help.

I recently downloaded KOTOR 1, played it all the way through, then downloaded KOTOR 2 (for the first time, very exciting). The other day, when going to play 2, I accidentally clicked on the icon for 1 and found that it does not start now, even after numerous attempts, and the usual turning my computer off and on again.

It gives the classic, vague "Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic has stopped working, Windows is searching for a solution to the problem" message as soon as I start it.

I'm on Windows 7, if that's any help.

Thanks in advance.

The same thing happens to the steam versions. If you have both games on both steam and gog, install kotor 1 from gog and kotor 2 from staem. That's how I have them installed on my computer and I can play both games at the same time.

Damn, that's inconvenient.
I have the GOG version of both games installed on my PC and they both work fine. I think a lot of gamers with the GOG versions of both games have both installed.

Did you use Galaxy to install them? Mine were installed before Galaxy.

Nope. I'll contact support for more info, but thanks anyway.
Oh hey. You didn't install them to the same folder did you?

Upon further investigation, that may be the problem. Currently stuck in a hotel with shitty wifi until Monday, will try redownloading 1 again when I get home.
Woops. You got what's called an unholy mix.
