I've been playing some despite my earlier problem, and got as far as the Undercity, whereupon I discovered this wonderful little glitch.

I don't know if it's a result of using the third-party program to force the resolution bigger, but I get random flashes of black at random vertical angles. Regardless, it's jarring and makes it impossible to properly immerse myself in the game.

I know I should probably turn it off and go back to one of the normal resolutions but... they're so tiny... I can't stand playing at that small a resolution. Especially since instead of resizing properly, it just shows as a tiny box with a sea of black all around it (possibly because I use two monitors?).

are you using flawless widescreen? - use it.

also, turn off the grass / maybe shadows too.
Yes, I'm using Flawless Widescreen

But- But- I don't want to turn those off! I want it to look nice.

I guess I just have to wait until they fix things before I continue.

that issue wont be getting fixed by gog in any short term scenario as its an issue with the game itself.
the only way (currently) to fix the issue I know of is to turn of grass and maybe shadows as well.
you might find a mod though.
