I cannot find an answer for this absolutely anywhere, even for the initial release of the game.
Are there any computer/ai/bot player options in multiplayer mode? If not, is there any kind of mod/"player patch" that added them?
I seem to be one of the only ones that really care about this, as I only have one other person to play with and both of us find 1 vs 1 racing very boring. If there is a way to do this, I'll happily be forking over the money for 2 copies ASAP.

I'd gladly play some MP for EP1R but the main problem is that it's an old game, thus requires you to "manually" connect to a Host. We would have to set up a date & time to meet and join someone who would host a game. I think...
