I'm trying to start STAR WARS Episode I Racer via GOG Galaxy. I get the following error:

«Error: Please insert CD-ROM 'racer100_0' into drive. Press OK to continue or CANCEL to exit to desktop»

I'm on win10 and I run Galaxy as normal user. The game asks for an admin password on launch.

Any help?

tl;dr Use video settings to set your resolution, then run the shortcut as administrator

I had the same problem. I ran the video settings program (it's in the Other section or something similar in the dropdown for the game in GOG Galaxy) and set it to my desktop resolution (1600x900 in my laptop's case.) That stopped the rdroid errors, but made it start asking for the CD to be inserted.

Then I opened the game's folder and found the "Launch Star Wars™ Episode I - Racer™" shortcut icon. Right click that and run it as administrator. The game ran fine after that.

Hope that works for you!
Thanks for your help!
