I absolutely loved this game growing up and had a joystick lying around (T1600m) so I decided to buy this game and install it. At first everything was great, I had played a couple races after configuring the joystick and went to bed.
The next day however, I launched the game and my joystick was not recognized as being plugged in. I rebooted the game to no avail and then decided to unplug and re plug in the controller. I rebooted the game and it booted until the blue progress bar was 3/4 of the way through before the entire game crashed.
Now when I have a joystick plugged in when I launch the game the game immediately crashes. Does anyone know of any fixes to this? I have been troubleshooting the whole thing for a little while and just discovered that the joystick being plugged in is what causes the game to crash.
