I was wondering if this game is free, if you connect your Steam library to GOG. I heard some people say it is, but when I connected, there where no games on the list.

I could end here ;)
BUT

The connect feature is ONLY for certain games at certain times. And AFAIK SWEAW/FOC was never part of it.

You can see which games are eligible or not.
