I'm playing through Jedi Knight and I'm experiencing pretty frequent crashes. It seems there's a certain chance of the game crashing whenever something loads. It crashes when I load a game. It crashes when I switch from game to menu back to game. It crashes when loading the next level. Occasionally it'll crash during gameplay.

I can't check my objectives or otherwise use the menu without worrying about whether the game will crash. I can't even finish a level without saving right before in case it crashes loading the next level.

The game is "playable." It doesn't take long to load it back up once it does crash, I just need to make sure I save frequently. It is annoyance however and I would appreciate a fix if anyone has one.

I have had similar problems, but now my game specifically crashes when I try to start Mission 3. It only loads the cutscene, and as soon as that ends or as I skip it, the game crashes back to Desktop.

Game works fine when it works, as OP described.
Same problem here.

Basically it crashes every other time I exit the game menu. So like you said, if i want to save the game or check my objectives or check the map the game will end up crashing. Super huge pain in the butt, basically making the game playable but impossible to enjoy.

Unfortunately I've been too lazy to try and figure out a solution.

EDIT: Also the aspect ratio is always screwed up on my computer after I quit the game, so that's a pain too.

As far as I can tell (and with a little help from Support) It's because of "hardware acceleration mode". If you can turn of Hardware Acceleration on your graphics card, then that will probably fix it. Unfortunately not all graphics cards have the option to turn it on and off.

Thank you very much for the suggestion! Hopefully it can be turned off on my graphics card.
