There is supposed to be an Easter Egg in Jedi Knight, Mission 5 where you can enter an ordinarily locked building and meet Max (of Sam and Max fame).

Several guides I've read say that you have to wait for a civilian woman who is leaving the door when you first arrive to return. However, when I played, she never returned and, when I followed her, I discovered she was stuck at a certain point, not moving. I restarted the mission, but the same thing happened.

Anyone ever get this to work?

It has been many years since I played it, but yes, I saw the easter egg live on my PC back in the days.

In a comment on YT someone said it's because the modern PCs are too fast, she tends to get stuck somewhere. On a new PC you need to wait in front of her house instead and force speed into it when she exits.

Can you give me a link to this YT, or any other source that might explain how to do this?

Here you see the woman coming back, even if the guy doesn't follow her inside

That happens in this video

There's no big secret really, it just seems to be buggy.
It might be worth trying to slow the PC down.
