Is it possible to choose the spwan location? Because in the last level of the game (Hoth) i died and i was defeated, because i spawned too far from the objective and the time counter reached zero.

Yes, as long as you took over the spawn point and when you choose a new soldier just press the spawn point on the map and then spawn yourself closer.
