The steam version crashes if you do not plug something into the microphone jack on your PC. Has this been fixed on the GOG version?
My cd rom version does that too. I thought it was a disc thing; guess I was wrong. XD

that's odd... the physical version was the only one I had but no issues on my end :/

Yeah, exact same here
Well it was no big deal, I don't use that port. I just stuck a headphone in there. XD
If I had 1 headphone jack it wouldn't be an issue. However, on my PC the game crashes if I don't have something plugged into the PC's headphone jack and my speaker headphone jack. I have been to cheap to buy another pair of headphones to plug into the speaker jack. But on this version is this still an issue?

It shouldn't be. I remember addressing that issue specifically.
I played an hour today without plugging anything in and the game didn't crash. So maybe it got fixed?

On some systems disabling certain microphone jacks, etc... via sound settings does the trick. Some systems are already fine depending on the sound card/setup.

This goes way back to the CD ROM version. It's a know bug.
