One of the great things about this game is the music. So what's your favourite tunes?

Even though it's really short, I think I have to go with the Thraddash-tune. I just love it.

I also like the Thraddash tune a lot, but my favorite is the Kzer-Za Ur-Quan (the green ones). From the very beginning when you meet that drone you know from the music that these guys are not messing around.

Using "Pkunk tune" on my phones as a ringtone for several years now.

They're all awesome, the music is a big part of what gives this game it's great atmosphere. All the races' music fits in perfectly with their characters.


My favorites I'd have to say, the Kzer-Za song, the Spathi, and the Ilwrath.

Melnorme tune by far.

The Hyperspace music, the Kher-Za theme, the Yehat theme, and Commander Hayes' theme, for me.

I haven't gotten far, but from the ones I've heard I enjoyed the Spathi tune (for being so wacky and funny) and the Ilwrath (so badass!) the most.

Definetely tune 6, i.e. Yehat theme.

HyperSpace tune, 3DO remix version. So bloody catchy...

That said, I can't recall any distinctly bad music in this game. Most tunes fit their respective races well.

I know this thread is a bit old, but my favorite tunes are in the starbase. The starbase menu always has me tapping on my keyboard along to the slow rhythm. The shipyard and configuration screens always make me want to move.
Finally, when I first encountered the commander of the starbase, I thought he was having some kind of crazy rave, with the lights blinking and that awesome music blaring. I still think he's only taking a break from a huge party to talk to me when I stop by.
