It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).

Sachys: Possibly, yeah. Like I said though - best to ask on the moddb page as Cromm is very active and will figure out what your issue is no doubt.

Let us know how it goes though

Rodo62: So I have tried to download it again. Same result..
I should ask Cromm as you said.
Thanks for your help again!
No worries - sorry it took me so long to just bloody think of that - would have saved a lot of time and frustration for you im sure (well, at least once you've asked cromm!)

Cromm said it was probably a compability issue between GPU and the ENB.
Installing the mod without ENB fixed the problem!
I hope the atmosphere of the mod won't suffer without the ENB.

Ah nice one!

I reckon you should be okay.
theres actually a really easy workaround for this bug. google sent me to a moddb thread where a user called amakker1424637424 posted this:

"I am having issues with the game crashing immediately. I have narrowed it down to the d3d9.dll that is used for any enb. Once I place this file in the bin folder, the game won't start. I get this error message: XR_3DA.exe caused ACCESS_VIOLATION

AA2 will work if I turn off the enb option.

Does anyone have any idea why I can't get the enb to run? I am using the GOG version of the game, not the Steam Version.

Thanks.

Edit: Issue solved. If you have the GOG version of the game, try running the game through the Settings.exe located in the main Stalker SoC folder. Once the window opens up, just click on "Save and Launch". The game should start with the enb enabled. Hope that helps someone!"

yeah, its really that easy!

This is not working for me, and I'm having the exact same issue. Any other advice in that thread?
I used the settings launcher from the game folder to fix the issue and runs the game just fine :)

When I open Settings.exe all I see is place for user name, cd key and "save and close" button, no "save and launch". :{

This actually works! I was wondering why the game was suddenly crashing after re-installing the mod with enb

Go to SHOC settings in GOG Galaxy and in command prompt type: -nointro -noprefetch
With my game I needed to have ENB (you can't disable effects in game)
Edit: I just realised that you can just delete d3d9d file from bin folder.
